Growing and Changing

So much growth!

My cute girl is now 9.  She's a third grader....soon to be a 4th grader!  Last night, she participated in the school talent show.  This was a HUGE deal!  Kids on the autism spectrum don't get jokes the way the rest of us do.  It took a great deal of effort to find jokes she thought were funny and so did other people.

It also took quite a bit of explaining what a talent show is, what you could do, why it is not appropriate to train a cat to sit, and why eating rice with chopsticks is great but would be hard for the audience to see.

Here are her jokes:

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Orange.
Orange who?
Orange you glad I didn't say banana?

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Interupting cow.
Interupting ......Mooo!!!

Why is six afraid of seven?
Why?
Because seven, eight, nine.

Why do cows have bells?
Why?
Because their horns don't work.

  1. I'm giving gratitude to Mr Pedro for all of his help in securing our loan for our new home here in Fruitland. You were organized & thorough & professional, as well as kind which made all of the difference in our interactions with you. We put our trust in you and you most definitely came through for us. Thank you for your patience as well as treating us as people rather than just home loan customers. You stand above the rest, I want to recommend anyone here looking for loan or investors to contact Mr Pedro and his staff because they are good people with gentle heart,
